Introducing the Staccato HD P4 & HD P4.5

Built for Americans by Americans

Pushing the 2011 platform to its technological limits, the HD line offers all of the best qualities of Staccato pistols with a streamlined design featuring better ergonomics, optimized grip profile, and Glock® pattern magazine compatibility. A complete ergonomics overhaul, new optics mounting system, improved recoil, & active firing pin block provide a combination of durability & shootability only available in the world’s best shooting handgun.

All Staccato HD pistols will feed from ubiquitous Glock-pattern magazines, which are inexpensive and easily sourced almost anywhere in the commercial market. For law enforcement and government customers currently issuing these magazines, their existing inventory and supply chain systems will be able to support the Staccato HD line. The P-series of HD pistols will accept any full-size Glock-pattern magazine, but will ship with 18-round, heat-treated carbon steel magazines finished in a black low-friction coating.

The Staccato HD P4.5 – Coming Spring of 2025 The HD P4.5 builds on the flagship P4 with enhanced shootability. This model is outfitted with a unique 4.5-inch barrel featuring a “sight block” design. There are several advantages to the sight block barrel, including: -front iron sight does not move during recoil -increased barrel length without increasing reciprocating mass -fixed mass at front of gun helps reduce muzzle flip -maintains the shorter 4-inch slide for faster cycle time (shorter recoil impulse, faster return to target)
Upgrade Packages For those who want to make the Staccato HD truly their own, or seek a higher degree of refinement, there are two upgrade packages available for HD pistols: HD Preferred The Preferred package includes the following upgrades to your HD pistol: DLC barrel Upgraded Trijicon front sight Three 18-round magazines (P4.5 package includes aluminum magwell) HD Premium The Premium package includes the following upgrades to your HD pistol: DLC barrel X-Cut Slide Upgraded Trijicon front sight Four 18-round magazines (P4.5 package includes aluminum magwell)
All Staccato HD pistols will feature a thoroughly updated HOST system for direct-mounting red dot optics. Model-specific optic spacers will be available for different models but, unlike traditional plate-based systems, the HOST will connect your optic directly to the slide allowing the use of longer, stronger screws. Additionally, your optic will sit lower on the slide for easier dot acquisition and smaller backup iron sights. The HOST also puts the rear iron sight in front of the optic. Seating the optic further back not only minimizes the likelihood of ejected brass contacting the sight, but better accommodates newer red dot sights with “forward set” windows like the Trijicon RMR HD or SRO.
